Entering Payroll

Step By Step

 

Find yourself forgetting what to do next?

This is a quick overview of the steps required

to enter, process, and submit your payroll.

EOD Employee Icon 

 1.)  Select Employees

  •  *Before you begin entering payroll, make any necessary employee additions or changes

 2.)  Select Rapid Pay Entry;

  • Select Earning Codes needed for this payroll, such as vacation, sick, etc;
  • Click Next and enter hours- salaries will automatically be paid  if nothing is entered;
  • Double check your totals at the bottom of the screen, then Save.

3.) Select Process Payroll, then Next;

  • Check the Payroll Date- click Manual Check Date if it falls on a weekend/holiday;
  • Click Start- a notification will pop up with any errors or warnings.

 4.) Select Payroll Journal, then Preview Report;

  • Check the hours entered, salaries automatically paid, and totals;
  • If you need to make a change, return to Rapid Pay Entry and then Process Payroll again.
  • *You can Process Payroll as many times as needed before you Notify Payroll Rep to Close

 5.) Select Notify Payroll Rep Ready To Close

  • This needs to  be selected  when you have  completed review of your "Preview Report
  • The button will open an email window, all you have to do is click send
